Mr. Kingery, 70, of Collinsville, passed away Tuesday at Rush Foundation Hospital.
He was a farmer and later a maintenance engineer with Rowan Drilling. Mr. Kingery along with his wife Leslie Sheffield Kingery began Hometown Hospice in 1997. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and game management for numerous friends and colleagues.
Mr. Kingery is survived by his wife Leslie Sheffield Kingery; daughter Rhonda Ayn Kingery Kicha (Peter); siblings Kyla Kingery Moore (Harold), Kenneth Kyle Kingery (Crystal), Martha Kingery Bridgers, Tommy Kingery (Alice); mother in law Betty Sheffield; brother in law Michael Sheffield (Tammy); sisters in law Hope Muise (Don) and Billie Alost (Terry). Mr. Kingery was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Kyle Kingery; mother and step-father Edna Kingery Baldwin and Ben Baldwin; father in law Clayton “Bill” Sheffield; brother in law Larry Bridgers.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the physicians and staff of Rush Hospital and ICU for the care that Mr. Kingery received.
