He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debbie Hale; daughter, Beth Hale; brothers, James Hale (Sharon) and Tobin Hale (Betty); and sisters, Gloria Nicholson (Charles), Martha Swanner, Drucilla Hall, and Reecie Voltz (Bill).
He is preceded in death by his father, E.J. Hale; mother, Ozella Hale; and brother, Rodney Hale.
He loved his family and enjoyed fishing.
