Jerry Neal Housewright of O’Fallon, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 81 years of age. He was born May 19, 1931 in Salem, Missouri to Lilburn Housewright and Virginia Watkins Housewright. On February 18, 2000 he was united in marriage to Doris Hunt Stewart who survives of the home.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Stewart of O’Fallon, MO; four sons, Samuel Housewright of O’Fallon, MO, Charles Housewright of Augusta, MO, Keith Housewright and wife Helen of St. Jacob, IL and David Housewright and wife Chrissy of Warrenton, MO; two daughters, Joyce Short and husband Dale of Wentzville, MO and Amy Wolfe of St. Charles, MO; two brothers, Larry Whitmore Jr. of Wright City, MO and Pat Whitmore of St. Charles, MO; one sister, Joan Morgan of Harbor, CA; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilburn and Virginia Housewright; and one sister, Joyce Ludemann.
