Jennie C. Rittall, 94, passed away on the morning of May 5, 2011 at the Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. Born on September 20, 1916, she was the daughter of Ralph and Ruth (Adams) Wylie. Jennie grew up in Boothbay, attending local schools and graduating from high school there. Shortly after graduation, she married Cecil Rittall and the couple would start their family in Woolwich, before moving to Nobleboro in 1942. During the war, Jennie went to work at Bath Iron Works before becoming a waitress at the Cheechako Restaurant in Damariscotta. She would eventually go to work at Sylvania Electric in Waldoboro, where she stayed for over 25 years. Jennie loved to bowl, and at one point, was a member of several singles and couples leagues.
