Jeannette Virginia Brannock, 88 of Madison passed away on Wednesday February 25, 2009 at the Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge. She was born at Madison on August 14, 1920 and was a daughter of the late Charles and Amy Wroten Brittingham.
Her stepfather was Ernest Christopher, Sr. On July 6, 1940 she married Preston A. Brannock who died on March 25, 1990. She retired from Dorchester General Hospital in 1982 after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Joppa United Methodist Church in Madison, Madison Volunteer Fire Company Women’s Auxiliary, VFW, and Local and National Chapters of AARP.
