NEW GLOUCESTER – Jeanne E. Waterman, 92, a longtime resident of New Gloucester passed away peacefully Sunday, February 27, 2022.
She fondly talked about memories with her family growing up, times with Bob and the Waterman family at Hillsdale Farm, raising their own three children, their many travels both in and outside of the country, years of camping trips and traditions, and all the times making memories with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Jeanne is predeceased by her husband, Bob, who passed in 2015 after 67 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, Robert Waterman Jr. and wife Glenda, of Gray, her daughter Kathleen Waterman and husband Martin Roth, of Vermont, and her daughter, Laura Leavitt and husband Donald of New Gloucester; her five grandchildren, Nicole Leavitt, Melinda Bedard, Robert Waterman III, Sarah Gould, and Leanne Weaver; and her ten great-grandchildren. Survivors also include her sister Emily Smith.
