Wiscasset- Jeanne Bartolett Daniels, 89, of Two Bridge Road died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her residence.
She was born in Camden, New Jersey on April 18, 1927, the daughter of Frank Sanville and Isabelle Virginia (Biddle) Bartolett Jr. Jeanne was educated at Haddonfield New Jersey High School, Westminister Choir College in Princeton, NJ and various teaching classes at the University of Maine.
During college, Jeanne performed with major symphonic orchestras – the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra under conductors, Srowkowski, Rodinski and Charles Muenchi. Jeanne was also a trumpet soloist. During that time, she recorded several albums featuring religious choir songs.
