Jean S. Wissel of Denton, MD passed away at the Caroline Nursing Home in Denton on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was 85 years old
Born in Baltimore, MD on July 6, 1932, Mrs. Wissel was the daughter of the late Robert and Hannah Baker. She had been an Electrical Engineer Draftsman for Western Electric in Baltimore. She moved to Easton, MD in 1983 and worked for Gipe Associates, Inc. and has lived in Denton since 1993. She had belonged to the St. William of York Catholic Church in Baltimore.
Mrs. Wissel is survived by two daughters, Sharon L. Sharp (Bill) of Denton and Deborah Ann Wissel of Baltimore; a son, Mark E. Wissel (Lynn) of Bel Air, MD; and five grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son, Douglas Wissel; two sisters, Thelma Espy and Elsie Wilkerson, and a brother, Robert Baker.
