Jason Edward Tullis, MD, born 10/10/1971, in La Jolla, CA, passed away on August 3rd, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Tullis, and his children Allison Tullis, Gage Acre, and Wilder Tullis. He is also survived by his parents Norman and Janice Tullis, along with his sister Wendy Collins and nieces, Kalei and Kirra Arendell and his goddaughter, Raelynn “Bug” Perry.
Jason graduated from Arroyo Grande High School, followed by an English degree from Santa Clara University in California. Jason then attended Creighton University Medical School in Omaha, NE. He later completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He enjoyed both his private practice and teaching career. He truly loved teaching his residents and was proud to watch them grow and learn. He truly felt it was an honor to work with them. While he had many hobbies, his greatest love was truly family and neurosurgery.
His family loved him dearly, and he will be truly missed. We will always cherish his memories and the amazing support he provided to all others above himself. We wish you peace Jason and will never forget your kind ways and the love and respect you gave to all others.
