James Ray Scott White, 33, of Williamsville, MO, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born February 11, 1989, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to parents Curtis Ray and Jennifer Diane (Wallace) White.
James was a loving father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. He graduated from Greenville High School and enjoyed carpentry work. To say the lease, James was quite the dare devil. He loved 4-wheelers, stunt driving, fast cars, mudding, popping wheelies on his bicycle and his motorcycle. His favorite bike was a Harley. James was a genuine person with a very big heart and a smile that would light up the room. He had a way with kids as they seem to draw to him, and he loved each one. He enjoyed helping others and truly loved his close-knit family.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother: Lee White; aunts: Rhonda White and Dianna Dougherty.
James is survived by his loving parents; daughter Bailey Bennett, who was the love of his life from the first day; Bailey’s mother and special friend who was always there: Elizabeth Rogers; fiancé: Amanda Breshahan; paternal grandparents: Ray White of Williamsville, and Scott and Wanda Wallace of Poplar Bluff; brother: Matthew White of Williamsville; sister: Jessica Risner and husband Westley of Greenville; nephews: Westley and Luke Risner both of Greenville; niece: Raegen Diane; aunts and uncles: Sherry Garrard and husband Billy of Savannah, TN; Denise Niccum and husband Bill of St. Louis, Danny Dockery of St. Louis; Terry Dougherty of Williamsville, Dale White of Williamsville, Tommy White and Amelia of Clubb, Stacey Barnett of Hendersonville, TN, Holly Scaminaci of Hendersonville, TN, Matthew Wallace of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kristy Mooney of Oklahoma City, OK; special friends: Joe Puckett, Jamielynn Morey and Brian Tumbas all from Williamsville. James will forever be remembered by his family, friends, and community. James was ever thankful for all the family and friends that kept a constant vigil and steady support for him during his ongoing illness.
