James R. “Ricky” Towers, Jr., 53, of Cambridge passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was born in Cambridge on May 11, 1960 and was a son of the late James R. Towers, Sr. and Virginia Cox Towers.
Ricky graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester High School class of 1978. He was employed with Big Mario’s in Cambridge and later moved to Miami Beach, Florida until his health started to fail and moved back to Cambridge. He enjoyed gardening, crabbing, and being with his family and friends. He was a member of the Men’s Auxiliary of the VFW.
