Age 64, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Sparrow Hospital in Ionia, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 22, 1947 in Ionia, MI the son of Donald K. and Katherine (Gladys) Badder (Patrick). He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Belmont; sister-in-law, Sandy Badder (Drysdale); step-son, Timothy Stowell. Surviving are 2 daughters, Melissa Badder of Belding, and Tina (Rob) McGill of Greenville; step-son, Corey Stowell of Redford; brothers, Donald Badder, and Dwight (Nancy) Badder, both of Ionia; sisters, Ardella (Tom) Pohl of Woodland, and Ulah Taylor of Ionia; grandsons, Brandon Woodhams, Treyton Donley, and Tyler and Travis McGill; special friend, Connie Stowell; several nieces and nephews; his faithful companion, Rufus. Dad enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, had a special love for horses, and enjoyed drinking a beer or two with friends. Years ago he worked for the Ionia Road Commission, and he loved doing construction. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service.
