James Clark Cox went to be with the Lord and his family on October 7, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on July 1, 1939 in Mason, Michigan to James W. and Lucile (Wagner) Cox. He grew up in Ingham County, Michigan and Jackson, Tennessee. He went on to become material control general foreman for Diamond Reo. He then became parts warehouse and store manager in Reno, Nevada and Lake Tahoe, California. James was then the maintenance manager for C.A.T.A. and retired after 16 years in 1996. He took great pride in his vegetable garden, lawn care, woodworking and taking care of his tools and equipment.
