Age 54, loving husband, father, and brother, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2008. He was born on May 7, 1954 in Westphalia the son of Anthony and Marcella (Fedewa) Hengesbach. Jim farmed his entire life on the farm he was born and raised on and also worked for Albin Hengesbach Trim as a carpenter. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westphalia, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the TPA. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles and Paul Hengesbach; sister, Evelyn Smith; brother-in-law, Clarence Schafer. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Patti Hengesbach; children, Tara, Cole, Haley, and Hanna Hengesbach; brothers, Albin (Ruth) Hengesbach, Donald (Kathy) Hengesbach, Anthony (Sharon) Hengesbach, and Mark Hengesbach; sister, Marie Schafer; sisters-in-law, Janet and Kathy Hengesbach; brother-in-law Charles Smith; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Kathleen Barker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allan Barker, Shirley Linn, and Lori (Mike) Wieber; several nieces and nephews.
