Casco – James (Bimbo) William McDonald Jr. 41 of Casco passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep on March 5th. Jim(Bim) was born in Portland on January 8,1974 to Jim and Lorraine (Wing) McDonald, Sr. He attended Cathedral Grammar School and Lake Region schools where he graduated in 1992.
He loved football and played on the Lake Region High School football team. Bim started working for the family business McDonald’s Home Improvement right out of high school, which is run by his dad. He loved his Patriots, spent a lot of time doing outdoor activities. His passion was for darts where he played on many Leagues, attended numerous dart tournaments, and even almost became the Maine state Champ. Bim had a heart of gold and would do anything for his family and friends. He was always there for anyone who needed him and he was loved by many.
Jim was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Arnold “Mac” McDonald, maternal grandfather Norman K. Wing, an uncle Donald Moody, his cousin Ed McDonald, and his best childhood friend David Burke. He is survived by his parents Jim and Lorraine McDonald, his brother Michael McDonald, nephew Brayden McDonald, niece Peyton McDonald, paternal grandmother Constance McDonald, maternal grandmother Lorraine Wing, and many, many aunts, uncles, Cousins, and friends who loved him.
