He was the beloved husband of Leola Schroer nee Macke of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his son, Tom (Linda) Schroer; three daughters, Sandy (Ned) Kammerer, Cindy (C. Nik) Bushell, Karla (Michael) Molitor; eight grandchildren, Travis (Tiffany) Molitor, C. Jacob Bushell, Lauren Kammerer, Joshua (Savannah) Bushell, Ryan Molitor, Lucas Kammerer, Logan Kammerer, Jessica Molitor; sister, Darlene Bauman; He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Schroer, mother, Albina Schroer, wife, Leola Schroer, sister, Connie Scott, brothers, Norman Schroer, Glennon Schroer. James was a member of St.Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in Wentzville. James and Leola were married for 57 before her passing 2018. He was also a member of Local Union 513. He enjoyed farming, camping, traveling. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
