James Augustine Sullivan
James A. “Jimmy” Sullivan passed away peacefully at the Gosnell House on Monday, December 21, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. Jim was born in Portland on February 29, 1928 to John T. and Helen C. Sullivan. He attended St. Dominic’s Grammar School and was a graduate of the Cheverus High School Class of 1946.
Jim attended the College of the Holy Cross for one year before joining the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served his country in the Korean Conflict. He married Jean Hayden on February 22, 1955 and together they raised six children.
