Jacqueline Yvonne Miller, 86, passed away in Laurel, Maryland on August 18, 2022.

Born December 11, 1935 in Avis, Pennsylvania, she was the youngest daughter of Leonard Earl Allison & Cynthia Alice (DuMond) Allison.

After graduating from Jersey Shore High School it was love at first sight when at a skating rink in Hecla Park near Bellefonte, Pa. Jacque met, Donald Wayne Miller.  They married and after moves to Virginia, New York, and Pennsylvania, in 1969 they settled their young family in Burtonsville, MD.

Jacque’s biggest joy was her family, her children, and especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed fishing and canoeing outings with her family, gardening, cards, reading, solitaire, crossword puzzles and nature shows.  A longtime, faithful worshiper at Liberty Grove United Methodist Church, she could be often found joining at many of the activities such as the annual Turkey Supper and Bazaar.

Jacque is survived by her children Lorraine Allison Swanson (Donald), of Thurmont, MD and Wayne Roush Miller (Georgena) of Laurel, MD.  Six grandchildren Jonathan William Kling, Laurel, MD, Drew Wesley Swanson, Thurmont, MD, Naomi Allison Swanson, Thurmont, MD, Graham Roush Miller (Katherine), Mt Airy, MD, Adam Brooks Miller (Alyssa), Burtonsville, MD, Heather Elizabeth Miller, Laurel, MD.  Five great-grandchildren Ryder Sebastian Kling, Dylan Greenlee Kling, Luke Cuellar Miller, Rhys Roush Miller and Crew Joseph.  And two brothers, Thomas Roy Allison (Connie) of Marion, IN, and Ronald David Allison (Shirley) of Hummelstown, PA

Jacque was preceded in death by her husband Donald Wayne Miller, parents Leonard Allison & Cynthia Allison, sisters Phyllis Miller, Joyce Bailey, Connie Hawkins, Janice Clark, and brothers Robert Allison, Raymond Allison, James Allison and Donn Allison.
