Jacqueline (Jackie) Marie Larson, 69, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on May 16, 1948, in Sturgeon Bay, WI. Jackie graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1966. She attended the School of Cosmetology in Green Bay and then earned her LPN nursing degree after moving to Minnesota.

Jackie met her husband Roger Larson at the Sawmill Inn in Grand Rapids in 1977. They married on Nov. 11, 1978, in Hibbing, Minnesota, and they made their home on Hartley Lake in Bovey, Minnesota. Jackie and Roger owned and operated R.W. Larson Insurance in Hibbing until they retired.

Jackie loved the simple things in life like slurpies and sunrises. She was in love with Winnie the Pooh and Lord of the Rings. She loved all animals, big or small, especially if they needed rescuing!
