Jackie “Jack” K. Billingsley of Steelville, Missouri passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Gibbs Care Center at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 3 days. Jack was born September 6, 1933 in Steelville, Missouri to Edward and Anna Myrtle Sellers Billingsley. On February 24, 1953 in Steelville, he was united in marriage to Elsie Hibner and to this union two children were born.
Jack served his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. He was a faithful member of the Steelville First Assembly of God Church. Jack had sold cars all his adult life and enjoyed being around the people he served. For several years he owned Jack’s Auto Sales.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna Billingsley.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of sixty-three years, Elsie Billingsley of Steelville, MO; one daughter, Sonya Triantos and husband Steve of Steelville, MO; one son, Anthony Billingsley and wife Stephanie of Steelville, MO; four grandchildren, Stephanie Gibbs and husband Anthony of Crawford Co., MO; Stuart Triantos and Hannah Blankenship, significiant other, of Rolla, MO; Logan and Lauren Billingsley of Steelville, MO; three great-grandchildren, Emelia Gibbs, Eloise Gibbs and Caden Triantos; brother-in-law’s, Raymond Hibner and Willie Hibner and wife Carolyn all of Chillicothe, MO; sister-in-law’s, Anna Mae Apprill and husband Don and Joan Miller all of Higginsville, MO; other relatives and many friends.
The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored as casket bearers were Anthony Gibbs, Steve Triantos, Logan Billingsley, Stuart Triantos, Allen Pitts and Dan Kreamalmyer.
