West Bath- J. George Coulombe, 70, of State Road died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Parkview Adventist Medical Center in Brunswick.
He was born in Somersworth, New Hampshire on February 22, 1940, a son of Charles P. and Yvonne (Bussiere) Coulombe. He graduated from high school and entered the U.S. Air Force. He was employed at Bath Iron Works, retiring in 2002 as an outside machinist. On September 19, 1992 he married Louise P. Robbins and they resided in West Bath.
He enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing cards, riding motorcycle and traveling.
He was predeceased by his wife, Louise P. Coulombe on January 25, 2009 and one grandson, Dylan Gay on November 10, 2009.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Kempf and her longtime companion Warren O’Leary of Brunswick and Kendra Hersom of Freeport, one sister, Louise Girard and her husband Harry of Tennessee, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
