Irma Irene Cottrell, 80, of Florissant , passed away Friday evening at Christian Northeast Hospital . Irma was born October 1, 1926 in Davisville , Missouri , the daughter of Claude Albert and Effie Louisa (Harris) Martin.
On July 1948, Irma was united in marriage to Burton Cottrell and to this union one daughter was born. Burton preceded her in death 1965.
Those to mourn her passing are her daughter Judith Cottrell of Florissant, Mo., one brother Herschel Martin and wife Betty of O’Fallon, Mo., one sister Mary Lucille Turnbough of Pevely, Mo., two sisters-in-law; Alline Cottrell of Steelville, Mo., and Rilma Mash and husband Tom of Cuba, Mo., two brothers-in-law Bill Cottrell of St. Clair, Mo., and Ronald Cottrell of Florida and other relatives and friends. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother Merle Martin and one sister Shirley Schirmer and husband Richard.
Irma was employed as an office manager in the home building trade in St. Louis for many years. She was a member of the Florissant Assembly of God Church and a member of Missouri Legionettes. Irma was a loving mother, sister, and friend will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
