Irene Nadeau, 89, passed away at her home on the morning of December 8th 2010. Born in Waterville, ME on March 30th 1921, she was the daughter of Philippe and Elizabeth (Wintle) Poulin. Irene attended Waterville and Fairfield schools before going to work at the Hathaway Shirt and Keyes Fibre Companies. On July 1st 1946, she married Edward L. Nadeau and the couple would reside at State Fish Hatcheries in Greenville, Embden and Casco.
