Hubert “Bert” Cronk, age 61 of Coon Rapids, MN passed away on Saturday May 30, 2020.
Bert was born to James and Gretha Cronk October 23, 1958 in Fullerton, CA. He joined the National Guard in 1976 through 1980 and then entered the Navy in 1981 until his discharge on February 7, 1992. Since his retirement from the Navy he received his CDL license in 1992 and started his career driving 18 wheelers over the road. In 2019 he received his 5-year safe driving certificate. Due to his illness he retired from commercial driving in the summer of 2019. He enjoyed his time organizing and participating in Fantasy Football. His love of outdoors was spent fishing and Sundays were spent with family and football.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 30 years Remy, two daughters Heather (Terry) Weidig of Kenosha, WI and Kimberlee (Keith) Cronk of Tucson, AZ; one granddaughter Katryn Frye; three sisters, Nancy (Jeff) Shroeder of New Richmond, WI, Cora (Jeff) Hecht of Beverly Hills, FL, DeeDee (Greg) McDonald of St. Helena, Montana; one brother, Barry (Janine) of Parkers Prairie, MN; Nieces Emily (Sam), Christina (Adrian), and Maggie; two nephews Colin, Benjamin.
He is preceded in death by his parents James and Gretha Cronk.
