Howard Robert Dixon
Age 75, of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away on Thursday, September 1 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, due to complications from a brain tumor.
Howard was born on November 24, 1946, in Millville, New Jersey, to Howard and Julia Dixon. He grew up in Millville, served in the U.S. Army in Germany, and eventually ended up in Minnesota.
For most of his life, Howard was a very successful CPA. Around the time he retired, he lost his life partner Jerry, who had been a real estate agent. Howard subsequently began another successful career as a real estate agent himself, based on all the knowledge he had gathered from Jerry over the years.
Howard loved music, theater, playing piano, trivia night with the Jersey Kids team, driving (particularly stick-shift VW GTIs!), watching football (especially his Philadelphia Eagles!), and traveling.
Howard is survived by his two sons, Jonathan and Thomas; three sisters (Nancy, Mary and Joan); one brother (David), and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother (Ronald).
