Longtime dairy farmer and WWII veteran, age 87, died on May 3rd, 2014. He was the son of Anthony and Dora Simon. He is survived by his wife Thelma of 63 years. He is also survived by two sons, and five daughters; Steve (Jody) and Neal (Nancy), Barbara Chea, Diane Casari(Jerry), Janet Simon(Chris Oehring), Judy Gwozdek(Thomas), and Cheryl Bowie(Tony). He was the loving grandfather of sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He leaves behind one sister, Reta Pung. He is also survived by sister-n-laws and brother-in-laws Mary Simon, Anne Thelen, Therese Thelen, Rita Thelen, Janice Thelen, Gladys and James Armbrustmacher, Richard and Rosemary Thelen.
