Henry Douglas Ryberg, age 65 of Virginia, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 peacefully in his home. He was born September 13, 1949 in Princeton, MN the son of Ardner and Hazel (Jensen) Ryberg and was a graduate of Cherry High School and the Eveleth Vocational Technical College. Henry lived in Princeton, Embarrass, and Iron prior to moving to Virginia. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Henry married Brenda Johnson on October 23, 1982 in Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church in Virginia. He was self-employed as a farmer and loved working in the woods with his brothers. Henry was a member of Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church in Virginia, enjoyed playing cards, cutting wood, and working at the farm. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an ability to know when others needed a calming word.
Henry is survived by his wife: Brenda; siblings: Ronald (Ruth) Ryberg of Iron, Charlotte Camp of Lino Lakes, Marlene (Larry) Clewette of Iron, Vernon (Denise) Ryberg of Eveleth, Vivian (Rusty) Falk of Virginia, Susan (Mike) Tammaro of LaPorte, Murl (Betty) Ryberg of Leadville, Co, Milen Ryberg of Leadville, CO, and Sandra (Brian) Clausen of Mosinee, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister: Marlys.
