Obituary
Mrs. Garrett is survived by her son, Ron Garrett of St. Charles, MO, daughters: Patti(Tom) Hopper of Jonesburg, MO and Joan (Jim) Fry of Jonesburg, MO, daughter-in-law, Cookie Garrett of Jonesburg, MO, brother, John G. Askey of Wentzville, MO, nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Garrett, parents: Jay Askey and Bessie Askey (nee Ackerman), son, Bob “Butch” Garrett, four brothers, two sisters and granddaughter, Ellen Fry. Mrs. Garrett worked for Beacon Shoe Company and sold Avon. She was a member of Eagles in Herman. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
