Age 85, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2008. She was born on September 13, 1923 . Helen retired from the State of Michigan Department of the Treasury. She enjoyed her time spent in Florida and Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years Charles “Bill” Weems; parents Guy and Vivian (Reynolds) Holland; step father Ira Holland; brothers Leneir and Joe Holland; sister-in-law Wilma Holland; brother and sister-in-law Ray and Mary Ethel Weems. Surviving are her sons, Lanny (Connie) Weems of Portland, MI, Danny Weems of Greeneville, TN; grandson, Chris (Amy) Weems and Helen’s “Babies” twin great granddaughters Marley and Nicole of Portland, MI; brother Wayne (Charlotte) Holland of Rutledge, TN; sisters Joyce Arnold of Gray, TN and Imogene Cox of Lenoir City, TN; sister-in-law Wynona (Joe) Holland of Elizabethton, TN; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
