Portland – Helen B. (Johnson) Carrick, 91, of Portland and formerly of Springfield, MA, passed away at Maine Medical Center on July 1, 2013. She was born on July 17, 1921 in Springfield, the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Miller) Johnson. She grew up in Springfield, attending Springfield schools and later Bay Path College in Boston.
Helen worked for many years as a legal secretary for various law offices. She enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and was an avid golfer. Helen was well known by her friends and family for her wit and sense of humor.
Helen is predeceased by her parents.
