Heather Marie Christianson, age 48 of Virginia, MN and formerly of Boise, ID died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in Essentia Health – Virginia. She was born February 28, 1965 in Portland, OR the daughter of Glenn and Joyce (Tande) Christianson; was a graduate of Borah High School in Boise and ITT Tech. Heather married Steve Tudehope in July of 1982 in Boise, ID at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church; they were later divorced. She was employed as a Title Officer for Alliance Title and LandAmerica Title and Escrow. Heather loved knitting, crocheting, needle point, and people. She treated every day as if it were another day on stage; as she was a thespian at heart. Music played a big role in Heather’s life; marching band at Borah High School changed her life. She was a Spirit Leader at Borah High School; was an avid Boise State Football Fan; and a virtually unbeatable Scrabble player. Heather’s daughter Christine was her shining star; and Heather celebrated each of Christine’s accomplishments. She was very proud of her daughter.
Heather is survived by her parents: Glenn and Joyce Christianson of Meridian, ID; daughter: Christine (Seth) Freundschuh of Virginia; brothers: Terry (Carol) Christianson of Coeur d’Alene, ID; Mike (Sue) Christianson of Council, ID; and Scott (Kim)Christianson of Meridian, ID; ex-husband: Steve Tudehope of Fruitland, ID; former mother-in-law: Marlys Tudehope of Boise, ID, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved cats: Thom, Dick, Harry, and Esther Ann.
