Hazel Marie Ranisate, age 73 of Tower died Friday, April 5, 2013 in her home with her family by her side. She was born February 15, 1940 in Bridgie Twp., MN the daughter of David C and Coral Hazel (Cook) Lukenbill and was a graduate of Littlefork – Big Falls High School. Hazel married Robert Ranisate on June 7, 1958 in Littlefork and they made their home in Arkansas, Montana, Littlefork, Soudan, and Tower. Hazel ran R Family Store in Tower and was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed baking, watching birds, crocheting, reading, and computer games. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandsons.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 54 years: Robert; children: Jake (Kathy) Ranisate of Soudan, Holly (Andrew) White of Embarrass, and Paul (Naomi) Ranisate of Embarrass; siblings: Stanley (Ester) Lukenbill and Janice Petra; grandsons: Steven and Trevor Ranisate; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Jeff Ranisate; and siblings: Velma Hegg, Russell Lukenbill, Vernal Lukenbill, and Donald Lukenbill.
