Age 91, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2005. She was born on March 20, 1913 in Orleans Twp., Ionia County, Michigan the daughter of Charles and Caroline (Broderson) Peterson. She was a resident of the Plainfield Health Care Center, Indiana. Except for the past few years, she was a life long resident of Ionia. She graduated from Ionia High School and Davenport Business College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was married to Frank W. Phelps on February 25, 1938. She worked for Auto Body Workers Credit Union of Ionia for 17 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church of Ionia where she was a past treasurer.
