Harry Shaghoian passed away June 4, 2019, in his Clawson, MI home , with his family around him. Born in Highland Park, MI on December 1, 1924, he was the son of proud Vanetzi parents, Haih and Roxy (nee Hagbarian) Shaghoian. Graduating from Detroit,s Central High School, Harry entered the US Army to defend hjis country in World War Two. As a crack Rifleman, he was shipped to Central Europe, where he fought in the Argonne and the infamous Battle of the Bulge. Receiving the Victory Medal, at the end of the war, Harry was posted as a guard in the famous Nuremburg Trail of the high ranking Nazi war criminals.
