Harriette Merrill Bridges, 93, of Damariscotta, passed away at her home on the evening of March 25th 2014. While making her final journey, she was lovingly supported by her granddaughter, her niece, and three of her devoted home health providers. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family members. Born in Mechanic Falls, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Mildred (Prince) Merrill. She grew up, and attended schools, in Mechanic Falls until 1935, when she moved with her family to Damariscotta. She continued her schooling here and graduated from Lincoln Academy in 1938.
