Age 85, passed away on August 18, 2016. Harriet was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westphalia; a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, and the Christian Mothers. She is preceded in death by her son, Clair; daughter, Marilyn; and two infant children. She is survived by her husband, Bernard, of 61 years; children, Gene (Theresa) Pohl of Westphalia, Rita Patrick of Portland, Eileen (Randy) Scutt of Portland, and Laura (Greg) Melton of Traverse City; ten grandchildren, Adam and Jarid Pohl, Manda and Chris Patrick, Robin and Nathan Rings, Josh and Brooke Arbuckle, Gavin and Taryn Melton; and five great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
