Harold K. Hart of Rolla, Missouri formerly of High Gate, Mo. passed away at the Benchmark Healthcare of Rolla, in Rolla, Mo. Harold Hart was 90 years, 3 months and 8 days of age.
Harold Hart was born on May 7, 1923 at St. James, Mo. to his parents: Thomas Emmett and Nellie C. (Howard) Hart. He was united in marriage to Norma Ruth Henry on June 19, 1948 in St. James, Mo.
Harold Hart was a gentle-man who was quiet by nature, but he was strong in spirit. He served his country in the Navy during WW II. He was very active in the construction of the building at the High Gate Baptist Church where he served as deacon for 25 years. He also was a appliance repairman where he and his wife owned Hart Appliances on 7th Street in Rolla, Mo for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Harold Hart is survived by his wife: Norma Ruth (Henry) Hart of Rolla, Mo.; one son: Robert H. Hart and wife Susan of Rushford, Minnesota; one brother: Doyle H. Hart and wife Mary of Union, Mo.; two grandchildren: Vicki Pierret and husband Chris and Erica Cook and husband A.J.; two great-grandchildren: Simmon and Lucas Pierret; along with other family members and a host of friends.
Harold Hart is preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Emmett and Nellie C. (Howard) Hart; three brothers: Chesley; Thurmond. and an infant brother Eldon Hart; and five sisters: Maxine Schrieber; Iva Wallace; Dessie Smith; Elva Koch; and Shirley Belt.
