Harold Dean “Dinger” Romaker, 78, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Romaker was born in McKittrick, Missouri on February 14, 1932, the son of the late Henry and Mollie (Volk) Romaker.
He was the husband of Nellie Christine (Ball) Romaker. They were married January 7, 1957 at Montgomery City, Missouri, she survives in Hermann.
He is also survived by two brothers Robert Romaker of Mexico, Missouri and Clyde Romaker & wife Ruth of Warrenton, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Oran, Joseph, Nicholas & Paul Romaker and by sisters Mary Benskin, Pauline Wibbenmeyer, Francis Romaker & Dorothy Hoebblemann.
He was a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator. He also was a plant manager at J & L Concrete Plant at McKittrick. He served in U.S. Army during the Korean War and he enjoyed playing music with family and friends.
