Harold “Bud” Hadley Isaak of Steelville, Missouri passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at Phelps County Regional Hospital in Rolla at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 11 days. He was born Sunday February 16, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri to Nicholas F. Isaak and Opal Marie (Hopkins) Isaak. On December 2, 1956 in Granite City, Ill, he was united in marriage to Marlene Hughes.
Harold started working as an agent for Prudential Life Insurance in St.Louis until moving back to the Steelville area where he worked for the University of Missouri Extension office as a small farms agent. Harold also had his real estate license and worked with Hardecke Real Estate Office in Steelville. He was a member of the Berryman Assembly of God church where he led the songs for the service, a church board member and on the steering committee. He loved fishing, hunting, taking care of the cattle, cutting wood and being on the farm.
He is survived by his wife Marlene (Hughes) Isaak of Steelville, MO; one son Harold Isaak Jr. of Springfield,MO; three daughters Cindy Wisdom and husband Vince of Boss, MO; Rebecca Setzer and husband Steve of Dillard,MO; and Barbara Crocker and husband Howard of Lebanon,MO. One brother Donald Isaak and wife Betty of Steelville,MO; Ten grandchildren Nathan Setzer and wife Beth, Aimee Garrison and husband Heath, Teel Wisdom, Dylan Crocker and wife Grace, Brent, Colin, Alexandra, Ellissa, Faith, and Gavin Crocker. Six great grandchildren Kaden, Kallen, and Kohen Garrison; Navy and Boston Setzer; and Karis Crocker; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Opal Marie and Nicholas F. Isaak; and one granddaughter Harmony Michelle Setzer.
Honored to be casket bearers were Howard Crocker, Steve Setzer, Vince Wisdom, Dylan Crocker, Brent Crocker, Colin Crocker, Gavin Crocker, Teel Wisdom and Nathan Setzer.
