Harold Benjamin Johnston (Ben) of Adelphi, Maryland passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
Beloved husband of Jacqueline (Jackie) Johnston, father of Kerry Preston, father in law of Ken Preston, and grandfather of Ryan Preston. Ben is also survived by his mother Florence Johnston and his Aunt Anna Unglesbee.
Ben attended Sherwood High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Greenbelt American Legion and College Park Moose Lodge.
Ben greatly enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, watching most sporting events, horse racing, and cooking, especially grilling on his Weber or smoker.
