Gloria Ann Donahoe, 78, of Steelville, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2007 at Phelps Co. Regional Hospital in Rolla. She was born Tuesday, January 22, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Schlaf) Crider.
She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Johnson in June of 1950 and to this union one daughter was born. Gloria married Jack “John” Donahoe on August 16, 1972. Upon moving to Steelville, Gloria and Jack bought a house on AA next door to Judy and Louis Dicus, quickly becoming dear friends. They were invited to Thanksgiving dinner that year with Bill and Hazel Asher and all their families and from that time were considered family.
