Born in Peoria, Illinois on September 23, 1920 to Marshall Graham and the former Mabel Hohl. He graduated from East Peoria High School in 1939. Glenn served in the U.S. Army overseas during World War II, and was discharged as a Private First Class in 1946. He married Ruth Violet Johnson of Detroit, Michigan, on March 3, 1946 at Peoria, Illinois. Glenn retired in 1985 from Bear Archery of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Grayling, Michigan. For 17 years, he worked in the Research and Development department building prototypes and specialty machines. He apprenticed as a tool and die maker at Caterpillar in Peoria, and worked for many years at Federal Engineering in downtown Detroit. Before moving to Ionia in 2005, the Grahams lived in Traverse City, Michigan, for over 10 years; during their marriage of 61 years they also lived in South Range, Michigan; Menahga, Minnesota; Gainesville, Florida; Kalkaska, Michigan; Detroit, Michigan; Peoria, Illinois; and San Jose, California. Over the years he was a church leader, and participated in a bowling league. He was an avid stamp collector and wrestling fan. Glenn is preceded in death by his

father, Marshall and stepmother, Carrie, of Salinas, California; mother, Mabel Hohl Graham Roberson, of Peoria, Illinois; son, James Marshall Graham, of Gainesville, Florida, on January 27, 1981; and half-sister, Nancy, of Long Beach, California. Surviving him are his wife, Ruth Violet Johnson Graham, currently of Ionia; daughter, Jayne Graham of Portland; granddaughter, Beth Ann Graham of Saginaw; great-grandson TJ of Saginaw; brothers-in-law John Albert Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona, and Burt Lake, Michigan, and Ralph Wiinamaki of Canby, Oregon; nieces, Jan (Johnson) and Dan Eversole of Mt. Pleasant and Kris Johnson of Denver, Colorado; other nieces and nephews in Arizona, Florida, and Michigan; and cousins in Peoria and East Peoria, Illinois.
