Glen Junior Martin, 76, of Cherryville, MO passed away Friday, November 9, 2007 at his home. He was born May 11, 1931 in Cherryville, MO to Cebe and Beulah (Atchison) Martin. On September 12, 1951, he was united in marriage to Marie Green, who survives of the home.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, one son, Ronnie Martin of Cherryville, MO, one daughter, Glenda Nelson of Arnold, MO, one brother, Bob Martin and wife Charlotte of Eureka, MO, one sister, Erma Dunn and husband Steve of Rolla, MO, two sisters-in-law, Melba Martin of Davisville, MO, Cleta Hartman of Lebanon, MO; two grandchildren, Tonya Munie and husband Shane, Heather Fries and husband Gary; three great-grandchildren, Eric Munie, Melanie Munie, Marina Fries; other relatives and friends. His parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Glen had worked for Swift Meat Packers in St. Louis and had retired in 1969. He was a long-time member of Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and loved to sing special music and play his guitar. Glen was from a musically gifted family of many years. During the years when Glen was in good health, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Glen dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all.
