Gertrude Mizell Tucker, age 91, of St. James passed away on January 25, 2009.
Gertrude was born on November 18, 1917 in St. James and resided there for most of her life before moving to Oklahoma City in 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Reamy D. Tucker, her parents Orville and Mae Mizell and her only sibling, Aileen Barber. Surviving family members include two daughters, Judi and husband Gary Gray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Billie and husband Raleigh Sheffield of Tucson, AZ. four grandchildren Patrick Gray of Ft. Worth, TX, Andrea and husband Ken Raskind of Ft. Worth, TX, Ami and Rebecca Sheffield both of Omaha, NE, great granddaughter Raemy Gray of Ft. Worth, TX as well as many nieces and nephews.
All who knew and loved her will miss her cheerful and loving disposition. During her lifetime her greatest pleasures were her family and friends, sewing, playing bridge and dancing.
