Geraldine “Gerry” Breeding of Laurel, DE, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at the Lofland Park Center in Seaford, DE. She was 71 years old.
Born in Harmony near Preston, MD on June 24, 1945, Mrs. Breeding was the daughter of the late Edward Thomas Pollard and Audrey Hicks Pollard.
Mrs. Breeding had worked for many years in the Accounting Department of the Bay Health (Kent General) Hospital in Dover, DE until 2005. She then worked for the Lofland Park Center in Seaford until last year when she retired because of health. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was also an active member of the Seaford Christian Church.
Mrs. Breeding is survived by her son, Brian Breeding and his significant other, Jodi Swartz, of Greenwood, DE; her sister, Joyce Newcomb of Easton, MD; two grandsons, Colin Breeding and Colby Breeding; a granddaughter, Brooke Breeding; her sister-in-law, Norma Pollard; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dog, Mickey.
