Gerald Lee Nicolson passed away at his home June 28, 2016 at the age of 74.
Gerald was born November 16, 1941 in George County to Carl and Retha Nicholson. He served in the United States Army. He worked in construction for many years including working on the Super Dome. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a welder after 22 years of service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Buck Nicholson. Gerald is survived by his wife of 34 years, Martha Nicholson; four sons, Gabe Nicholson, Stoney Nicholson, Shane Nicholson and Wife Kaye, Brent Nicholson and wife Valerie; siblings, Wayne Nicholson, Gail Gibson, Linda Hovetter (Greg); two grandchildren, Preston Sullivan and Justus Duckworth.
