Age 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. He was born on December 8, 1919 in Westphalia the son of Leo and Rose (Schafer) Bauer. Mr. Bauer was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He worked for Motor Wheel for 5 years before starting work at Fisher Body in Lansing for 42 years and retired in 1992. He also was a Silo Builder for many years with his father and brother Jerome Bauer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother James A. Bauer; sister Rosemary Thelen; brothers-in-law, Norman Thelen and Leo Fox. Surviving are his siblings, Alice Fox of Lansing, Jerome (Marlene) Bauer of Westphalia and Connie (Jerome) Schafer of Dewitt; 15 nieces and nephews.
