George William Ziebol, 71, of Steelville passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 at the University of Missouri Health Center in Columbia, Missouri. He was bornSaturday, October 24, 1935, in Glenwood, Illinois, the son of the George Otto Ziebol and Lavelette Virginia (Williams) Brandon. George was married to Frances Setzer and to this union four daughters were born. He later married Joan Howard on December 20, 1993 in Bridgeton, Missouri.
Those left to mourn his passing are his wife Joan; four daughters, Kathleen Key and husband James of Harrison, Ark., Susan Martin and husband Ron of Camdenton, Cindy Martin and husband Rick of Steelville and Merry Mularchuk and husband Cort of Jacksonville, North Carolina; one step-daughter, Jeana Van Slyke of O’Fallon; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Ziebol of California and Johnnie Ziebol and wife Jena of Libertyville, Texas; and two sisters, Bonnie McDonald and husband Talmadge of St. Ann and Jo Ree Keller of St. Louis; one brother-in-law, Jesse Blank. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Bosch and Patsy Blank.
George had worked as a washer and dryer service technician in laundry sales and service in the St. Louis area.
