George Richard Hall, 90 years old, passed On to GLORY on Monday, August 23rd, 2021, in Meridian, MS.

He was born on July 25th, 1931 in North Carolina. He was a Retired Chief Petty Officer and had a special knowledge of fixing appliances, passing that knowledge on to many others, but his passion was winning souls into the Kingdom of God, and being the best husband and shepherd anyone has ever seen. He was also a wonderful father and taught his children the things of the Lord. He was a father to many, teaching us the things that truly mattered on this Earth. Many, many, many people respected and loved him dearly.

He was a man that loved unconditionally and dedicated his life to serving the Lord and others, it didn’t matter what time of day or night it was. He loved all that came into his path.

There really are many wonderful things that we could say about this man, but we would be here for hours, so just know that this man impacted MANY LIVES.

His favorite quote was “One who wins souls is wise” and with that being said, he was a very WISE man!

He was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years Doris Moffett Hall and his stepson Ricky Jenkins; father William Thomas Hall; mother Floride Griffin Hall; his son in law Byron Corvelle, as well as his mother-in-law Eva S. Contreras He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Margie (Hall) Crowell, Clarice “Buddy” Luther, Elsie Phillips, Alma Ellenburg,; brothers William Hall Jr., Arthur Hall, Charlie Hall, Larry Hall and Sidney Hall.

He was survived by his wife of 31 years Anita Ramirez Hall, who reflects and serves our Savior as he did.

Those left to cherish his memories are his sons, Mike Hall, Joe Hall, Levi Hall and his daughters Regenia Madej, Vicky Doll, Teresa Fleming, Nelda Sistrunk, Gwen Lee and Virginia Sartin along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Hall, and sister Jean Peeler.

Such a Legacy he has left behind. Such a man of integrity and honor, he will be surely missed by many, but he has gone onto his reward, where we all are striving to go.

So be strong in the Lord and the power of His might, dedicating ourselves to the service of the Lord, because in the end, that is what truly matters most.

“Fair winds and following seas”

George Hall, We love you.
