Halvorson, George Halver Erwin Age 93, of Minnetonka, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 1, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Albert Halverson and Isabelle Norris. Survived by life partner of 65 years, Patricia; children, Linda Halvorson, George (Chris) Halvorson, Gary (Jamilah) Halvorson; grandchildren, Chelsea Halvorson, Patrick and Nicholas Murray; many other relatives and friends. Born August 22, 1920, graduated University of Minnesota, and served as a Commander in the US Navy during WWII. He will be deeply missed for his great sense of humor, his love of the lake cabin, his beautiful slice, his insatiable love for chocolate and Pat’s blueberry pie.
